My Egypt Awakening continued with a day of initiations, activations, adventure, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences!

While a hot air balloon flight may not have been on my bucket list, as soon as I learned I’d get the opportunity, and over the Valley of the Kings, I simply couldn’t resist! Despite having had barely any sleep after a disturbed night, followed by a 5:30 am start, all traces of tiredness soon diminished as I excitedly met up with ten of my beautiful Priestess sisters for the short journey to the launch site.

It was surprisingly busy (and noisy) when we arrived there, with several huge balloons on the ground in various stages of becoming flight-ready.

As soon as we got the go-ahead we all climbed into the basket, eagerly awaiting the launch of our balloon, and with a blast of hot air, we were up! It was incredible, an experience of a lifetime and I kept having to pinch myself that I was actually doing it!

We were by no means alone either but shared the morning sky with dozens of other beautiful, brightly coloured balloons all dotted around us.

Although the Valley of the Kings was only a stone’s throw away, we actually didn’t fly over it in the end, but our aerial view did not disappoint. We were treated to a perfect view of Queen Hatshepsut’s temple in the distance and flew directly over the temple of Ramses III in Medinet Habu, both temples we’d be visiting later that day. It really was breathtakingly beautiful.

With all the excitement, we’d worked up quite an appetite and were looking forward to meeting up with our fellow Priestesses for breakfast. We were taken to an alabaster factory and treated to a typical Nubian-style breakfast of delicious, freshly made falafels, pitta bread, and dips. And then, after a cheeky bit of shopping, we were off again, this time headed for Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple (in Luxor).

There is a powerful masculine and feminine energy in this temple, likely due to how Queen Hatshepsut lived her life throughout her reign. She was often depicted in male form to increase her credibility.

We had no service work to do here, other than being open to receive her powerful transmission and codes of divine masculine and feminine balance, which was probably just as well as it was scorching hot and very, very busy. We were all starting to wilt a little!

The temple itself is huge, with three massive terraces rising above the desert floor and into the cliffs. A large ramp leads to the two upper terraces (which was quite a trek in the heat of the day), and on the far left side, there is a section dedicated to the Goddess Hathor, while to the far right it’s for the jackal-headed God of the Underworld, Anubis.

We explored the entire temple, including its furthest part the Holy of Holies, before making our way back down. You could literally feel the magnificence and grandeur of the temple and it was so worth the visit.

The Valley of the Queens was our next port of call. Originally it had been intended that we’d also visit the Valley of the Kings but after feeling into the energy it was decided it just wasn’t right for our Priestess tour and I don’t doubt that for a minute.

I wasn’t entirely sure how I’d feel about visiting a tomb, as I believe they are sacred and not something we should disturb, but we weren’t there as tourists simply to marvel at the exquisite decoration, as beautiful as it was. We were there for an important initiation, and with such wonderfully calm and peaceful energy in the tomb, there was no question in my mind that we were meant to be there.

It was within Queen Nefertari’s tomb that we received our High Priestess initiations and activations, and were also gifted with crystalline light codes. This was an incredibly humbling, emotional, and intense experience for us all, although again, to be held in such a beautiful energy was just perfect. None of us wanted to leave, but sadly time was restricted in the tomb because it was so busy.

However … our adventures were far from over! Although I felt absolutely shattered, my lack of sleep definitely catching up with me now, made worse I felt sure by the intense heat, we had one more temple to visit. Habu Temple, the temple we’d flown over in the hot air balloon earlier that morning, was fortunately not far away and we arrived in no time.

Some of my fellow Priestesses did decide to sit this one out, but I’m so glad I didn’t. Not only was the temple just as incredible, with especially beautiful energy again, but it became apparent we were there in our Priestess capacity for some grid work to be done …

With that said, it wasn’t long before we were in trouble with the temple guards again! Just like on so many occasions before, the work of the patriarchy was very evident there. They were highly suspicious of us and what we were there to do, and watched our every move, following us around and being generally intimidating. But once again, bribery was the name of the game …

When we were finally left on our own, and found the area we needed to grid, we set to work. There were nine of us in the end and we gathered in a circle, standing and holding hands. And we each received a download of Angelic codes as they were gridded into Mother Earth. It was beautiful, and certainly a calmer experience than that at Edfu Temple! Although I’d felt especially protected by Divine Mother Isis on this occasion, who had instructed that I remain fully heart-centered there.

After our visit to Habu temple our adventures for the day were complete. We headed back to our Nile cruise boat for lunch and a relaxing, reflective afternoon, which I have to say was very welcome by this time!

To be continued …
