Day five of our adventure will always remain one of the most memorable, not least because, at one point, I genuinely thought we were all going to be arrested!

I was up at 6:30am feeling refreshed and energised, so I headed up to the top deck of our beautiful Dahabiya boat to enjoy the sunrise with some of my sisters, and practice a few Yoga stretches. Another beautiful day had begun …

We continued our Nile cruise through the morning, making our way up towards Edfu on its Western bank, arriving in the early afternoon. A minibus was ready and waiting to take us from our boat the short distance to Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of the Soul, which is dedicated to the falcon God Horus (the avenging son of Isis and Osiris). And this is where the craziness played out!

Aside from visiting this temple to learn sacred knowledge and receive its Divine energies, our mission as Priestesses was also to perform service work, to open and activate a portal with light. Knowing this was not likely to be straightforward, we’d prepared earlier, while still on the boat. We completed a meditation together and then stood as a group in formation, according to sacred geometry, each taking an exact position that we’d then replicate to perform the actual activation. However, you may recall me saying in my earlier blog that any kind of ritual work, or even meditation, is met with fierce resistance from the temple guards. And as a group of women arriving at Edfu, they were on to us straight away!

As I said previously, I wouldn’t mind if I genuinely believed it was because they were looking after these incredibly sacred sites. I have no doubt there must be people who visit them for the purpose of practicing black magic, just as we were there to grid in the light. But I lost count of the times they turned a blind eye after receiving some ‘compensation’. However, this was not the case at Edfu!

Initially, we tried to complete the gridding work just outside the temple, in its grounds, but the guards were having none of it. Our fab Egyptian guides did their best to take the heat off, but it was a futile attempt and they ended up in a very heated discussion with the guards, who’d no doubt seen it all before. We had no choice but to move on.

We made our way through the main entrance, a huge 36m high gateway, guarded by two granite statues of Horus in his falcon form. We’d hardly set foot inside the first courtyard area before we were shouted at again! I think one of the Priestesses may have touched one of the walls, keen to connect with the energy, however, understandably, this is also forbidden. We decided to split up to look around the temple on our own, with the intention of meeting up when we could.

Edfu Temple is as incredible as it is beautiful. It’s the second-largest temple in Egypt, and the largest one dedicated to Horus and his cult of followers. It’s also one of the best preserved and actually sits on top of an earlier built temple, the ruins of which date back to Ramses III.

Anyway … a short while later we reconvened, after being drawn to a particular chamber within the temple. However, once more the guards appeared from nowhere! And this time an armed guard was with them, his submachine gun very obviously on display! I mean, seriously? They continued to shout at us and be generally intimidating, and I have to admit, it was pretty unnerving. How threatening could we possibly have looked? It seemed clear to us this resistance was through FEAR and we also had to wonder if it was the work of the patriarchy …

We had no choice but to quickly disperse for the second time, and resume our individual tour of this incredible temple. It was so intense! And by this time, I was seriously beginning to wonder if we’d all get arrested! But we knew this work was important. And we were NOT going to leave the temple until it was done. This was a huge part of why we’d each been chosen for this pilgrimage in Egypt, and it seemed as though we were being tested. Individually, and as a group. How devoted were we as Priestesses to this path of service, particularly if/when the going gets tough?

We kept watch from afar until the chamber was empty once more, and then practically ran back, not wanting to miss another opportunity! We quickly assembled in our sacred geometry formation and … we were finally able to complete our mission! I believe we each played a role in its satisfactory conclusion in the end. For my part, having remembered pulling The Eye of Horus Oracle card just prior to leaving the boat that afternoon, I asked Horus to protect us from the guards, and visualised us, as a group, standing within this sacred symbol. And I know, from having spoken to some of my fellow Priestesses afterward, they each did something similar. And so it was done!

Edfu Temple has a very high Angelic frequency and presence of Mother Mary. And this was how the portal was activated, by bringing through the Angelic Christ light codes. In fact, we each received a blessing and download of Christ light codes here too. It was beyond incredible – the energy was electric!

It felt super empowering to have completed such an important mission. Although I’m not going to lie, there were definite feelings of relief mixed in with those of jubilation! It was all just so crazy. I think we spent a good hour afterwards just taking photos outside the temple, in an attempt to come back down to earth. All under the watchful eye of the guards, of course …

To be continued …
